Rallings Labels has a long history in Brisbane. It was started in 1930 by Earnest Rallings who was a printer by day and also a Printing Teacher by night. He started a commercial printing business in Annerley Road, Wooloongabba in 1930. His two sons Earnest and Sydney joined the business and it became known as Rallings and Rallings. Upon the passing of one of the brothers Trevor Rowlinson purchased 1/2 of the business in 1972. He then purchased the other half in 1974 and also started another business from the same premises called Treden Labels. Rallings and Rallings was a commercial printing business which focused on all types of printing from business cards, through to letterheads, magazines, docket books etc. Treden Labels was a Roll Fed Label printing business and grew quite successfully.
In 2002, the current owner Brad Low purchased the business from Trevor Rowlinson and combined the two businesses under one company calling it Rallings Print Group Pty Ltd. The reason for this was that customers from the Commercial Printing side of the business didn't know that we also did Label Printing and vice versa. In 2008 the Commercial Printing part of the company was sold to another commercial printer as the market for such services was starting to shrink rapidly. Whilst we are still Rallings Print Group Pty Ltd, we trade as Rallings Label Specialists to let people know that our specialty is Label Printing.
We enjoy what we do and we do it well. Why not give Brad a call and see how he can help you out with any label enquiries you may have.
